Open to all Virginia Administrators.

Through the Administrators Environmental Leadership Program, CBF provides high-quality professional learning that meets the evolving needs of administrators and schools. The program supports school principals and administrators in developing environmental stewardship opportunities for their entire school community. For this course, CBF will partner with Earth Force to familiarize administrators with the 6 step Earth Force process used to engage students in hands-on, authentic, community based projects. Through networking and collegial discussion, school leaders learn how to design a program that fits the needs of their school district and what leadership roles they can take to ensure success. All this is done while experiencing first hand the beauty and complexities of the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem. Professional Development Hours: 24

Length & Location: 3 days/2 nights at CBF's Port Isobel Island Environmental Education Center.
Cost:There is no fee for this course thanks to the support of the Henry L. and Grace Doherty Charitable Foundation, Inc.
