Tuesday, October 9, 2018
6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Wye River Upper School
316 S. Commerce Street
Centreville, MD 21617

This intensive multi-week program is held on six consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6-8:30 p.m., from October 9 through November 13, 2018, plus a field trip October 14..

CBF created the Volunteers as Chesapeake Stewards (VoiCeS) program in 2004 as a way to reach out to local volunteers and their communities and create a deeper understanding of the Bay and the efforts to restore it. VoiCeS is CBF's most in-depth adult education program available to its members and the public.

Learn about

  • Bay science and fisheries,
  • pollution problems and solutions,
  • farm and urban issues,
  • Bay history and ecology, and
  • how to play a personal role in restoration efforts in your local waters and the Bay.

Participants are expected to attend at least five of the six classroom sessions, as well as a field trip (currently scheduled for October 14). Successful graduates receive CBF's designation as "Chesapeake Stewards."

Materials fee: $25/individual, $40/couple.

Registration deadline: October 8, 2018
