It's time for our 2019 season growers to return their rental equipment and plant their underwater grasses at restoration sites.

This event is open only to current program participants and their guests who are returning equipment and planting their grasses.

To ensure the safety of all volunteers, a quality experience, and the survival of the grasses, we ask that each participant be aware of and abide by the following guidelines:

  • Only three children or students (under the age of 18) per grass grow-out kit are allowed in the water at one time.
  • When in the water, every child 16-years-old and younger must be accompanied by an adult (one-to-one ratio). **This is particularly important for school groups.
  • All children 16-years-old and younger must wear a life vest (provided by CBF) while in the water.
  • All children under 18 must have a CBF health waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Volunteers 18-years-old and above will need to sign the CBF health waiver themselves.
  • All students/children on the shore waiting their turn to plant must be monitored by a parent/guardian/teacher.

Health waivers will be provided in the confirmation email sent to participants.
