Open to Baltimore City Public School educators, grades k-12.

Come explore the interactions between our urban systems and the Chesapeake Bay. This five-day course focuses on how to engage your students in field-based investigations into issues affecting our local environment. We will investigate ways that human activities and choices impact the ecosystems and natural habitats of the bay through the collection, analysis, and interpretation of authentic data. Participants will take home an array of activities and lessons that can be incorporated into the school curriculum. 2 AUs from Baltimore City are available.

Length & Location: 5 days local within Baltimore City.
Cost: $50 resource fee refunded upon completion of the course.
Credit: This course qualifies for 3 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits from MSDE for Maryland teachers.
