Events take place on Harrison Street, between Dover and Goldsborough Streets.
In partnership with the Avalon Foundation, CBF's Eastern Shore Office is sponsoring a number of can't-miss musical performances starting Saturday, June 3 and running through July 8. Exhibits and activities for the kids on Harrison Street begin at 6:00 p.m., and the music starts at 7:00 p.m. This is a great time for families and friends!
On Saturday, June 3, kick off the summer with an evening of Latino music by Cantaré and delicious ethnic food sold by street vendors! Cantaré draws from the musical heritage of the Caribbean and Central and South America to perform an entertaining blend of songs in Spanish and Portuguese, while sharing the rich cultural history of the music. The Shore’s Latino community and all others welcome!
All concerts are free and open to the public. While enjoying the music, be sure to stop by the dozens of environmental and community exhibits, including CBF's, so that you can learn more about the Bay and how you can be a part of the movement to restore it.
This concert series is intended to promote community awareness about the Chesapeake Clean Water Blueprint, a multi-state, science-based plan to restore the Chesapeake Bay and its rivers and streams.
The rain venue for these shows will be the Avalon Theatre at 40 East Dover Street.
