The September 12 session has been cancelled due to Hurricane Florence. We will now begin the program at the regularly scheduled September 19th class.
This intensive multi-week program is held on six consecutive Wednesday evenings from 6-9:00 p.m., from September 12 through October 17, 2018.
CBF's Volunteers as Chesapeake Stewards (VoiCeS) is a program for adults that provides information on subjects affecting the health of the Chesapeake Bay including: Bay history, wildlife, wetlands, fisheries, urban and rural solutions to pollution, local restoration, citizen advocacy, and much more! There will also be at least one field experience through the program.
The VoiCeS program culminates in a service requirement of 40 hours on a Bay-related project(s) of your choosing. Successful graduates receive CBF's designation as "Chesapeake Stewards."
Materials fee: $25/individual, $40/couple will be due at the first class.
