Clean Water Forum

Wednesday, September 6, 2017
12:30 PM - 3:00 PM
The National Theater
708 E. Broad Street
Richmond, VA 23219

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) and James River Association (JRA) will co-host this forum with candidates for Virginia's next governor. Mr. Ed Gillespie and Lt. Governor Ralph Northam will share their thoughts on issues impacting the James River and the Chesapeake Bay. After a question and answer session moderated by Dr. Quentin Kidd of the Wason Center for Public Policy, we'll host a light reception, giving you an opportunity to mingle with other citizens interested in clean water as well as with CBF and JRA staff.

Commitment from legislators and Virginia's next governor will be vital to making a restored Bay a reality. With the right policies and continued investment, together we can reduce pollution, restore oysters and other iconic fisheries, and strengthen local communities.

Register today to learn more about the candidates' perspectives on important water quality issues, such as reducing polluted runoff from agricultural and urban/suburban lands, and how they will address water quality challenges during their administration. By attending, you'll show the candidates the deep and abiding love Virginians have for our waterways.

(A paid parking deck is available directly behind the venue (7th and Marshall Streets). Metered street parking is also available.)

We're sorry, the deadline for registering for this event has passed.
